Make Ahead Gourmet Appetizers
Hosting a party can be stressful, whether it’s a small get-together or a holiday fête for a crowd. The key is making as much food ahead of time as possible, and do a little last-minute prep. Stock your freezer with these gourmet make-ahead appetizers and you’ll always be ready for party time! You will be taking home 5 dozen appetizers for you to get your first party started! We’ll cheers to that!!
DATE & TIME:
Saturday / November 3rd
9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Pan Fried Shrimp Dumplings with Spicy Orange Sauce
- Beef and Blue Cheese Mini Meatballs
- Baked wonton cups with an Artichoke and Green Chili Filling
- Mushroom Palmiers
- Phyllo Triangles with Spinach and Feta Filling
STUDENTS NEED TO BRING:
- Mini Muffin Tins
- Chef Knife
- Cutting Board
- 2 “ round cookie cutter
- Pastry brush
- Cookie Trays
- 1 gallon Plastic bags or containers to transport your appetizers home
- Beverage and lunch

About the Artist:
Jana began her culinary career in the same manner as many do. She was born into it! Her Italian grandparents and both of her parents loved to cook! An early exposure to great food sparked a passion that continues to this day.
She trained at Zona Spray Cooking School, an accredited cooking school in Hudson, Ohio. Her training lead her to a position in the cooking school. She worked along side many professional chefs that taught at Zona Spray Cooking School, including Michael Symon (The Chew).
Her love of food, cooking and healthy eating lead to a 21 year personal chef/catering business. She has since retired from her catering business, but the love of food has lead her to sharing her knowledge in a classroom environment.
